Terms of Service — Շշուկներ (Shshukner)

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Շշուկներ ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU/EEA) to use the App. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your account

• You may register with any username (3+ characters, no impersonation).
• Reserved usernames (e.g. "admin", "support", "official") are not available.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
• One person may create multiple accounts only if they are not used to evade bans, manipulate votes, or harass other users.

4. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to use the App to:

• Post content that is illegal, threatening, defamatory, hateful, harassing, or violates another person's rights
• Post sexual content involving minors (this will be reported to law enforcement)
• Post spam, scams, phishing, or repetitive promotional content
• Impersonate another real person
• Reveal the personal information of others (doxxing)
• Bypass moderation, security, or rate-limit mechanisms
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attack the App or its infrastructure
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to mass-create posts, accounts, or interactions
• Sell, transfer, or commercialize your account

5. Content you post

• You retain ownership of content you post.
• You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to display, store, distribute, and moderate your content solely to operate the App. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for backups for up to 30 days.
• You are solely responsible for the legality of what you post.

6. Moderation and user controls

• Reporting. Every post, comment, poll, and listing can be reported. Posts that receive 5 or more reports are automatically hidden pending review.
• Blocking. You may block any user at any time. When you block someone, you will not see their posts, comments, polls, or listings, and they cannot send you chat requests or direct messages. Blocked users are not notified. Manage your blocklist in Profile → Blocked users.
• Profanity filter. An automated filter replaces offensive words in user-visible text (Armenian + English wordlists).
• Admin action. We may remove content or suspend/ban accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion. We do not pre-moderate content — we respond to reports.
• Appeals. Banned account holders may appeal by emailing turn.on.everywhere@gmail.com.

7. Location

The App requires approximate location to function (to show you nearby content). Coordinates are rounded to ~1 km before storage. You can revoke location permission at any time, but most features will not work without it.

8. Service availability

• The App is provided "as is" and "as available".
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or that any specific data will be retained indefinitely.
• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
• Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the App is limited to AMD 5,000 (approximately USD 12).
• We are not responsible for content posted by other users.

10. Termination and account deletion

• You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen. Deletion is permanent and immediate and removes your account, posts, comments, polls, listings, messages, group memberships, badges, and points. Some operational logs (IP addresses, request logs) may persist for up to 30 days.
• If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion from your browser at https://whispersyvn.com/delete-account, or by emailing turn.on.everywhere@gmail.com from any address with the subject "Account deletion request" and your username (we respond within 30 days).
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
• Sections 5 (license to your content), 9 (liability), and 11 (governing law) survive termination.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Yerevan, Armenia.

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA/UK, you may also be entitled to bring proceedings in your home country.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the App at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
